The short version
- Djournee is a personal assistant for adults 18 or older who live in Canada or the United States. During the beta, it's by invitation only, and it's free.
- Djournee suggests; you decide. It never sends, pays, books or changes anything that affects someone else without your okay.
- Djournee is an AI, and AI can make mistakes. Check anything important. It isn't medical, legal, tax or financial advice, and it isn't an emergency service.
- What you tell Djournee is yours. We use it only to help you, never sell it, and never use it to train AI. You can export or delete it at any time.
- You accept these terms and our Privacy Policy together, with one box, when you register.
1. Who we are
Djournee is operated by Prodwhiz Solutions Inc., Ontario, Canada L9J 0K6 ("Djournee", "we", "us"). "You" means the person using Djournee.
How you accept these terms. When you register, one box asks you to accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy together. We record which version of each you accepted, in which language, and when. You can read every version on our website at any time.
2. Who can use Djournee
- You must be 18 or older. When you register, you confirm that you are.
- You must live in Canada or the United States. For now, Djournee is offered only there, and when you register you choose your province, territory or state. If you live somewhere else, please don't sign up yet; we hope to come to more places later.
- If you start creating an account and tell us you live elsewhere, no account is created, and everything you entered (your email address, your sign-in and your name) is deleted right away. We don't keep it, not even for 30 days, and we don't email you.
- During the beta, you need a personal invitation, and the beta isn't open to people who live in Québec yet.
- This applies whether or not you pay, including if you're invited as a beta tester or to use Djournee for free. Travelling outside Canada and the US is fine; what matters is where you live.
- One account is for one person. Keep your sign-in (passkey, password, codes) to yourself, and tell us right away if you think someone else got into your account.
3. What Djournee is, and what it isn't
Djournee helps you keep track of your commitments across your life, catch conflicts before they happen, and plan your days. It works from what you tell it, what you add, and what you choose to connect (during the beta, Google Calendar, which Djournee only reads).
- It suggests; you decide. Djournee may move your own flexible items when you've allowed it, and always tells you. Anything that affects another person (a message, an invitation, a change to a shared event) waits for your confirmation. It never makes a purchase or a payment.
- It can make mistakes. It can misread something, misunderstand a request, or miss a conflict. Check anything important before relying on it. When it's unsure, it says so.
- It isn't professional advice. Nothing in Djournee is medical, mental-health, legal, tax, accounting or financial advice. It can help you organize and remember; decisions that need a professional are yours to make with one.
- It isn't an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number. In Canada and the US, you can call or text 988 for crisis support.
- Services you connect (such as Google Calendar) are provided by their own companies, under their own terms with you. Djournee isn't responsible for them, and if one stops working or changes, Djournee may not be able to read from it.
4. The beta
- The beta is free. Nothing is charged, and we don't ask for a card.
- It's an early product. Some things will be rough or change, and features may be added or removed. Your honest feedback, given in the app when you choose to, helps shape it.
- It continues, free, until the public launch. When paid plans start, you'll be offered a founding member price and 30 days, starting on launch day, to choose. Nothing is charged automatically: if you don't choose a plan, your account becomes inactive (you can still see and export everything), and you can subscribe later.
- We may end the beta for an account that breaks these terms (section 7), or pause the beta for everyone if something serious requires it. We'll tell you, and you can export your information.
5. Your content
- What you tell Djournee is yours: your commitments, notes, conversations, and what's taken from files you upload. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Djournee to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- We never sell it, never use it for advertising, and never use it to train, fine-tune or test AI models, ours or anyone else's.
- Files you upload are read once and then deleted. Only the details that matter are kept.
- Information about other people (your children, family or others): share only what helps you plan, and only what you're allowed to share. Djournee never contacts them on its own.
- You're responsible for what you add: please don't use Djournee to store anything you don't have the right to keep.
6. Exporting and deleting
- Export: you can download everything Djournee knows about you, at any time, from inside the app.
- Delete: you can delete one item, a conversation, everything in an area, or your whole account, at any time. Deleting your account takes effect right away; your information is fully erased, including from backups, within about 30 days. Messages you sent us (the contact form or Contact support) are the exception: they're unlinked from your account and kept until 3 years after the conversation's last message, as the Privacy Policy explains.
7. Using Djournee fairly
Please don't:
- use Djournee to harm, harass or deceive anyone, or for anything illegal;
- try to get into another person's account or information, or around Djournee's security;
- overload, copy, scrape or automate access to Djournee (except through features we offer for it);
- reverse-engineer Djournee or use it to build a competing service;
- upload harmful files, or content you don't have the right to share.
If an account breaks these rules, we may limit or close it. Unless the law or safety prevents it, we'll tell you why first and give you a chance to export your information.
8. Djournee itself, your feedback and your story
Djournee's software, design, name and logo belong to Prodwhiz Solutions Inc. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Djournee while your account is active.
Ideas and feedback you share with us (for example in the beta check-ins or "Share your thoughts") can be used to improve Djournee, without any obligation to you. A story you share is published only if you tick the box to allow it, and only after you approve the exact words and how you're named, or that you're not named. You can ask us to take it down at any time.
9. Availability and changes to Djournee
We work to keep Djournee available and your information safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. Features may change, especially during the beta. If we ever stop offering Djournee, we'll tell you at least 30 days before, so you can export your information.
10. Responsibility
- Djournee is provided "as is" during the beta, free of charge, and we can't guarantee it will catch every conflict or be free of mistakes.
- To the extent the law allows, Prodwhiz Solutions Inc. isn't responsible for indirect losses (for example a missed appointment or opportunity) caused by relying on Djournee, and our total responsibility to you is limited to CA$100.
- Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your province, territory or state that can't be waived.
11. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we publish a new version with its date and a short summary of what changed, and every earlier version stays available on our website.
- Most changes: we tell you in the app and by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using Djournee after that date, the new version applies.
- When paid plans start: these terms gain the sections about plans, payment, renewal and cancellation. If you choose a plan, you accept that version when you subscribe; until then, the version you accepted in the beta keeps applying.
12. The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute that can't be settled by writing to us goes to the courts of Ontario, including Small Claims Court. If you live in another province, a territory or a US state, you keep any protections its consumer laws give you that can't be waived, including the right to go to your own local courts where those laws give it.
13. Contact
Write to us through the contact form on www.djournee.com, or Contact support in the app. Privacy questions: privacy@djournee.com. Prodwhiz Solutions Inc., Ontario, Canada L9J 0K6
